Carlos Lee hit 3 homers off of Billings' starter
Josh Beckett to lead the Bombers to an 11-4
victory. Birmingham advances to the SVL
World Series, starting Sunday. Lee drove in
4 runs in the game. Xavier Nady also
homered, doubled, and drove in 4 runs as
well. Zack Grienke got the win for the
Bombers, going 2-0 in the series.
The World Series will begin Sunday in
Birmingham. Duluth and Birmingham met
once during the regular season with
Birmingham winning that game. Both teams
were 90-72 in the regular season.
