Sandlot Vintage League History
The SVL was created in 2004. The first season featured 16 teams
using Diamond-Mind Baseball’s All-Time Greatest Players Disk.
In the spring of 2005, the SVL expanded to 20 teams and used
the DMB 2005 projection disk. In its 3rd season, the SVL
expanded again to 24 teams and used the 2005 season disk. The
SVL has continued for 8 seasons with 24 teams and owners.
SVL Season 9 is getting ready to begin in December, 2011.
